Furthermore, as an AHIP Certified, licensed Life & Health Producer for many years, Blair brings intimate knowledge of the healthcare, and Medicare specific marketing environments. During his college years, Derek ran print presses with a vengeance. With a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising he landed a job as Art Director in a SoHo, London ad agency. After busting his chops in London’s energetic advertising scene, Hocking crossed the pond to join Winter Graphics North in 1996. Since 2003, Derek also acts as Creative Director for Apollo Marketing Design. He spends his free time searching for the elusive perfect pint of English ale.

Rachelle Berman Lara
Rachelle brings over 15 years of marketing strategy and copywriting experience to the team. While she is fully committed to Apollo, she also provides marketing consulting and writing expertise to a select group of clients, including McKesson Specialty Health and The US Oncology Network. With a careful eye for detail and a talent for translating complex ideas into simple yet compelling language, Rachelle has helped successfully position healthcare-focused companies ranging from Fortune 500s to non-profits and start-ups. Through her previous management positions at national ad agencies such as Young & Rubicam and corporations like Sony Pictures, Rachelle knows what it takes to consistently deliver projects on strategy, on time, and within budget -- intelligent grace under pressure is what we like to call it. In her spare time, Rachelle tries to keep up with her two soccer-addicted sons, chairs school fundraisers and attempts to catch up on Mad Men episodes.
